  or joining a food co-op. But where do you begin? How do you know wher
 e to look? We'd like to make the process easier for you by inviting lo
 cal food companies who service East Vancouver with their food bins, fo
 od co-ops or bulk-buying options. Get to know SPUD, NOWBC, East End Fo
 od Co-op & Skipper Otto's fish shares (& others) by dropping in betwee
 n 5 & 8pm at the Hastings Community Centre's Family drop-in. If you'd
  like to come with your children, we will have our children's programm
 ers on site with light snacks and activities so that your kids can hav
 e fun while you get a chance to ask questions, uninterrupted! Those wh
 o haven't pre-registered and would like to drop-in, will only be able 
 to do so as space permits.Registration is preferred ahead of time - by
  emailing hastingsfoodsac@gmail.com. Drop-in for $5 is also an option,
