DESCRIPTION:Offered by Village Vancouver as part of the Sustenance Fes
 tival.\nBeginners: The basics of seed saving with a focus on annual an
 d biennial food plants. We'll identify self-pollinators and cross-poll
 inators, and talk about the best seeds to start saving. We'll discuss 
 the easiest seeds to save in small gardens and why, and how to harvest
 , dry and store seed. We'll clean some seed. Based on the booklet, The

  email address above.\nWe're also offering Advanced Seed Saving (11 am
 -12:30 pm): For those who understand the basics of seed saving. We'll 
 discuss topics that relate to saving more challenging food plants, suc
 h as cross pollinators (squash) and biennials such as brassicas, espec
 ially as they relate to seed saving challenges in city gardens. Bring
