 ed our lectures in our inaugural Ecological Economics class in the spr
 ing of 2013, Michael Barkusky, Jordan Bober, and Randy Chatterjee are 
 again teaching from Herman Daly's unparalleled textbook.\nWe are start
 ing in September 2013 and running every third Wednesday night from 7 t
 o 9 PM at a downtown Vancouver location, and continuing for \"as long 
 as it takes\" to spread the teachings of an enlightened economics, whe
 re assumptions such as unlimited growth, pollution as a mitigable exte
 rnality, and free trade face fair and unbiassed scrutiny.\nMore import
 ant than critiquing a field that has likely done more damage to the wo
 rld than any other academic discipline, we will be constructing new ec
 onomics models for promoting real wealth, positive yields, just distri
 bution, healthy societies, sustainable resource extraction, stable ban
