DESCRIPTION:Offered by Village Vancouver as part of the Sustenance Fes
 tival.\nFor those who understand the basics of seed saving. We'll disc
 uss topics that relate to saving more challenging food plants, such as
  cross pollinators (squash) and biennials such as brassicas, especiall
 y as they relate to seed saving challenges in city gardens. Bring your
  questions and we'll address your seed saving issues.\nWe're also offe
 ring Beginners Seed Saving The basics of seed saving with a focus on a
 nnual and biennial food plants. We'll identify self-pollinators and cr
 oss-pollinators, and talk about the best seeds to start saving. We'll 
 discuss the easiest seeds to save in small gardens and why, and how to
  harvest, dry and store seed. We'll clean some seed. Based on the book
 let, The 5 Levels of Seed Saving.\nInstructor: Maria Hunter, Dragonfly
  seeds, assisted by Leoni Croy.\nBoth workshops are FREE. Limited to 2
