 ******\nHosted by Village Vancouver, the Aberthau Garden Project inclu
 des VV's Demonstration Permaculture Garden, the West Point Grey Presch
 ool Garden, and (following last year’s Sunflower Garden) the Pumpkin
  Patch, a new art/garden project by Aberthau artists-in-residence Loco
 MotoArt: Laura Lee Coles and Rob Scharein. Emphasizing regenerative, l
 ow maintenance and moisture retentive permaculture design elements, in
 cluding a small hugelkultur, an herb spiral, and saving open pollinate
 d seeds, the garden includes annual and perennial veggies, fruits, her
 bs and flowers, including pollinator attractants. Offering fun and inc
 lusive social, educational, and cultural activities for community memb
 ers, including free monthly workshops, newer gardeners garden collabor
 atively alongside more experienced gardeners, providing a learning exp
 erience for everyone.\nWe have several upcoming workshops and other ac
